A Great Strong Sweet Scent

I got this product to test out in exchange for a fair review. JPG Le Male Absolu is a great sweet, plum-forward, and slightly vanillic, Tonka-forward scent that is slightly smoother than Le male Elixir. It lasts a long time (on my skin, lasts a solid 8 hours before it becomes a skin scent) and I enjoy the scent that it brings. Initially, I get a plum-heavy top, but as it dried down more and more I would get more of the lavender, and mainly the Tonka Bean sweetness, similar to Elixir. Where this differs however, is the lack of tobacco, which personally sweetens things up and makes it easier to enjoy for casual wear. I believe this is best for the cooler weather, since this type of sweetness for the heat may be overpowering for some, but I do enjoy that it has strong performance and it is easy to enjoy this type of scent profile. I am really looking forward to trying it out some more with the cooler weather after this summer season, and even sometimes in the cooler summer nights for nicer nights out. Overall I would strongly recommend this to anyone who’s looking to expand on their fragrance collection and are looking for something that is more elevated than your average scent.

Bold and distinct fragrance

Redundant but must have

Great spin on the JPG Le Male Elixir DNA! Has the same sweetness with a nice fruity opening, smoothens out into that honey note that we all know and love. Definitely a winter/evening scent but I'll be rocking this as far as summer nights as well.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I didn’t expect to like this one as much as I do. I picked it up on a bit of a whim, and it’s slowly worked its way into my regular rotation. What I really like is how easy it is to wear — it has this clean, slightly sweet vibe that feels relaxed but still intentional. It’s not loud or overpowering, but it has enough presence to make me feel a bit more confident when I wear it. There’s something comfortable about it, but it’s still polished enough that I wouldn’t hesitate to wear it to just about anything. I’ve had a couple of people ask what I’m wearing, which is always a good sign, but more than anything, I just enjoy how it makes me feel. It’s not trying too hard — and maybe that’s why I like it so much. It’s a solid, dependable scent that adds a nice finishing touch to whatever I’m doing that day.

I recently received a complimentary 75ml bottle of Le Male Elixir Absolu from Influenster in exchange for my honest review: First impressions? It has the potential to be a banger. The 75ml bottle fits perfectly in my hand, and the gold finish hits just right. The opening hits with a sweet, spicy plum note. I can kinda get the gum smell people mention about 30 minutes in, but it’s got something else I just cant figure out what it is... As it settles, it leans into this warm, slightly powdery vibe that’s got a bit of that classic barbershop feel. It seems to last quite a long time and I haven't caught myself going nose blind to it despite going for frequent sniffs. (It took a few hours after the initial spray but i finally figured out what my nose was picking up, but there is a small part of the fragrance that smells exactly like Spirito Fiorentino!) Quick story: I sprayed this on before taking my dog out, and when I was coming back inside, this girl in the stairwell stopped me and was like, “Oh my god, it’s you who smells so good.” She said she’d been catching whiffs of it as she was walking down the stairs and thought it was amazing. Ultimately though, It’s a little sweet for my taste personally, but who am I to argue when someone goes out of their way to compliment it? So if you like fragrances that lean towards that sweet scent, projects well, and may or may not be a frequent compliment getter, this one’s worth a try.

Nice evening scent

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] It smells like a mix between le male le parfum and le male elixir. It’s a very pleasant mixture of honey, vanilla, tonka. It smells sweet and powdery and the added plum note gives it some added depth. Projection is really good and longevity is also great. Primarily a cool weather scent but you could probably get away with it all year round

Best JPG fragrance I’ve used!

I love this fragrance! Elixir Absolu has this bold blend of warm tonka bean, smooth vanilla, and rich amber that really makes an impression.
