Vermeil Blond Tabac Small Jar Candle - Świeca

Not my kind of girl.

I really liked the smell of this candle when it was unlit, but after lighting it, my perception of its scent was slightly different. It's a sweet, velvety, slightly smoky scent. Imagine the smell of a woman perfumed with luxurious perfume who has just returned from a cigar smoking place. It is pleasant, but only up to a point. I'm glad I didn't choose a larger candle because the scent would have been more intense and tiring for the nose and head. Would I buy again? Probably not, because I'm curious about other candles. I'm still looking for my signature scent.

The scent of the candle

The scent of the candle is ok. I would have given it more stars but when I had initially chatted with the Voluspa representative I ask if it had the same smell as the Warm Perique Tabac which was discontinued and I was told it does. Not even remotely close. Very disappointed.

Small hint of luxury

I bought this as a blind buy after I seen it on The Glam Twinz page and I usually love everything they recommend so I ordered this and…I love it lol it’s so clean and absolutely beautiful! I bought the small one to make sure I liked it but I’m definitely going to get a larger size. The appearance is so radiant and looks amazing in my room. I can’t really describe the smell other than super clean and calming.

What very little scent there

What very little scent there is smells floral and springy? I truly do not understand, as of course I was expecting a strong woodsy vanilla? 😭 If it weren’t such a hassle, I’d have returned it. Instead I’m just taking the loss. So frustrating to spend $$ on something as ephemeral as a candle only to get duped. Volupsa used to be my go-to, but I just don’t know… Hashtag disappointed!

Luxurious comfort

This scent is so comforting and cozy. If you are not a fan of fruity or sweet scents, then this candle is probably perfect for you. There is just a hint of vanilla which balances out the warmth from the sandalwood and tabac. I always love Voluspa’s jar and lid designs and this one is no different, very luxurious.

Relaxing scent!

The gold jar for the Blond Tubac is so cute and luxurious. The scent of this candle is a little musky because of the sandalwood scent but there’s also a mix of vanilla. This is perfect if you’re not into the sweet fruity candles! I love how Voluspa has a variety of scents with something for everyone!
