Rouge Rouge - Pomadka

A great lipstick

After seeing Temptalia's review on Rose Crush, I knew I had to get it to add to my rosy lipstick collection. The texture was perfect - not too soft, not too hard. One swipe will get you an even stroke of color. On the lips, it feels like a lightweight balm, barely detectable. The shade also lasted about 6 hours, and wears away nicely after eating/drinking. After it wears off, my lips felt moisturized. The packaging had a nice weight to it and felt luxurious. However...the rose crush shade just didn't live up to my expectations. I find that certain rosy shades pull a bit brown on me, which is what Rose Crush did. For the record, my perfect rosy shade is the Bite Beauty Lip Crayon in Torte (LE). I so want to love this lipstick, but I know I won't wear the shade. Nevertheless, my rating is for the lipstick, not the shade, and the formula is really top notch.

deserves more exposure

I really hope Sephora carries this in the store, so more people will have chance to try it first. I bought color Sweet Desire after seeing one youtuber using it in her daily makeup video. It is a pink mauve with slightly cool tone. The application is very easy and the color is opaque. It feels good on the lips and last for quite some time. The packaging is not as fancy as Burberry and Tom Ford but the price is also more lovely. I would consider buy more colors for sure.

Bloodstone (RD503)

I posted a review for this lipstick which seems not to have been added so I'll write another and keep it short this time, lest this meet the same fate! I am not a fan of matte lipsticks - don't like how they look or feel - they show off lip lines and creases you didn't even know you had and they are so drying and uncomfortable. These lipsticks in the Rouge Rouge line are so creamy and beautifully flattering. Bloodstone is a gorgeous bright true red but the sheen of the finish keeps it from being "over the top". Packaging is great too - 2 small magnets in the cap keep it from slipping off in your makeup bag! I plan to get more of these.

Bloodstone (RD503)

This line of lipsticks (the Rouge Rouge ones) is a fairly new release (Summer or Fall 2016). I have Bloodstone and it is a perfect red - not too orange or brown. The packaging is substantial and clicks shut with magnets. The lipstick itself feels terrific and wears really well too, without drying my lips or smearing/travelling outside of my lips, so I can skip a lip liner entirely. I plan to get one or two more of these because they are SO nice and such good quality

Fantastic Red

I bought First Bite because I was looking for a soft red to replace my favorite (discontinued) lipstick. It more than fit the bill. It feels great on and is a nice soft color that goes well with my fair features.

New favorite!!

I got a sample in Ruby Copper for Christmas and I wasn't expecting too much as I was in more of a matte lipstick mood lately but this is my new favorite!! The color looks amazing on me and it's practically indestructible, I ate enchiladas an hour after putting it on and it's still completely in place. It's silky smooth and just gorgeous, I'm definitely buying the full size.

Shade: First Bite

I have been looking for a soft red for years, and I finally found it! I am pale with very dark hair and light eyes, so most reds were too bright, bold, or dark and I ended up looking cartoonish or vampy. I saw swatches for this line on a blog and was deciding between First Bite and Toffee Apple, but went with First Bite because it has a slight amount of pearl. Anyway, the shade is perfect: it's a medium warm red that does not lean yellow or blue-based, and does not lean orange or pink. It's a true soft, neutral red. Furthermore the formula is light, a bit glossy and very moisturizing on my chronically dry lips. The slight pearl in First Bite is just enough: it's not metallic or frosty. This is a wonderful lipstick for someone who wants to wear red, but just not a bold red.

AMAZING!

Lauqer rouge was so amazing, I didn't think they could come up with a better one...it's a tie this time. Of course Lauquer rouge is amazing moisturize, but rouge rouge has so many varieties of pinks and reds you'll never really see anywhere else. Plus! It is moisturizing only if you drink lots of water and make sure to treat your lips at night. 10/10 product! :)

Perfect

I have been looking for a red that doesn't look garish or vampy on my pale, neutral-warm skin for AGES!! After seeing swatches and review of these I decided to get Toffee Apple which is a medium red that leans slightly warm - - magical. It's also slightly muted which is exactly what I needed, yet seemingly impossible to find in most brands as all of the reds I've tried/looked at until now were either too bright or too dark. The formula is slightly reminiscent of Nars Audacious in that it feels extremely light on the lips. Unlike Nars, however, Shiseido does not emphasize dryness and looks a lot smoother. It's also more moisturizing and applies smoother. Overall LOVE the color, formula, and will definitely be getting more shades!

Bold color, feels like I'm not wearing anything

When I wear most lipsticks or glosses, I'm always very aware that I have something on my lips...and not in a good way. This lipstick is the only one I've ever worn that I don't notice, yet still gives an intense color AND doesn't dry out my lips. I just wish Shiseido makeup was in stores! I ordered Rum Punch thinking it would be a dark purplish red, but on me it is more red-brown-- it would have been nice to see in person. If not, it would be helpful to see skin tone swatches or photos.

Stunning!

I got Sweet Desire, Real Ruby and Bloodstone. They're stunning. Sweet Desire is a soft pink nude with great coverage and a beautiful sheen. It wears so well for a light color. Real Ruby is a medium red that seems to vacillate between a cool and warm undertone (I know that seems odd...but it does). Bloodstone is a deeper red with micro shimmer and a burgundy undertone. Really distinctive shade. They all apply and wear so well. See them on, swatches and hear more in the video.

Lovely

I have many reds in my collection, and so I was surprised and impressed after buying toffee apple - creamy, warm mid-tone red, solid color payoff and grip- slight luster. Not sure on the longevity yet, but hoping for at least 4 hours. It was a wonderful every day red - clearly red, but less challenging to others in a conference room (mind you, there is a time and place for the bolds)!
