Contour to Perfection!
When Kat Von D first came out with her Shade Light brush and contour palette set over five years ago now, I was in love. Her brush started my contouring obsession, however, I felt like after so much use it was time for an upgrade! After looking at many brushes, I decided on this Sephora brush, as it has many of the same features as the original shade light, plus it is affordable. I use the rounded side for baking and setting my Anastasia setting power, and Huda powder, it hugs the contours of my face perfectly and effectively packs, and sweeps off excess product. Then I use the curved side for contouring with my Benefit matte hoola bronzer, making sure to bland, blend, blend into my hair line, along my cheeks, as well as my jaw line. This brush picks up the ideal amount of product without being wasteful, allowing for predictable buildup of your chosen products into the desired areas of the face. Sure, it might lack the cuteness of some other brushes like toofaced, or the aesthetic appearance of tarte’s contour brush, but for the price it gets the job done, and does it well. I would recommend this brush for the advanced makeup artist, as well as those who are beginning to contour. Thanks Sephora for adding another quality, affordable brush to my ever growing makeup collection!
