City Block Sheer SPF 25 - Krem z filtrem przeciwsłonecznym

This is ok. I have very fair skin, and I didn’t realize the tint would be so dark and yellow. It does blend out ok, but even blended it’s a bit too dark for my skin tone. Wearing a light powder or foundation over it helps though. The texture is thick and drier, but applies surprisingly well on my dry skin. I do have to use a lot though, which is a bummer because you’ll just go through it faster. I prefer sunscreens that are more liquidy and light, but can’t wear chemical sunscreens, so am limited on my options. I bought this because it was marketed as a primer, and I think it does an ok job. Since it’s thicker though, if I wear foundation over it I feel like I’m wearing a mask on my face. It looks ok, but feels heavy. I also have clog-prone skin and I think this may make it worse. The jury is still out, but my pores do seem to be more clogged when I wear this daily. I don’t hate it enough to return it or toss it, but I don’t love it either. If you have medium or dark skin tone and skin that isn’t clog-prone, you may have better luck.

Holy Grail Sunscreen

Best mineral sunscreen I’ve ever used! Isn’t too heavy or thick like most mineral sunscreens and doesn’t leave a white cast. It’s not tinted it’s just not white if that makes sense. It’s light and sheer and absorbs perfectly in to the skin. Read the ingredients- it uses a good amount of both titanium and zinc and not gobs of dimethicone like over-priced Skinceuticals. This is now a holy grail product for me. Now that I’ve said that I predict it gets discontinued based on my past luck with products I love.

Been using this for over 20 years. I'm almost 39 and I credit it with preventing crows feet. Highly recommend using it around your eyes and wearing it daily.

Not great for medium skintone or going makeup

So I don't have this specific, 25 SPF city block, but I do have the 40 spf and I wanted to share my experience. I do love that it makes my face feel protected without smelling like a sunscreen. However, I have medium-light skin, and I would say that no matter how I try to blend, it does leave a bit of a whitecast that is slightly lighter than my natural skintone, and I do feel like it makes me look a little pale. In addition, I've tried using this underneath my makeup routine (which is already very minimal, I only use the maybelline bb pure as well as some blush and highlighter) and with the city block underneath, after a while the combo of the makeup and cityblock can start to appear dry and flakey. For reference, I have normal/combination skin, so my skin was not already dry and flaking, it's simply an effect of the city block. So I would recommend this product for those with fair or light complexion, and as something to go over moisturizer but not under a makeup routine! I myself am going to start looking into chemical sunscreens so that I don't get that whitecast since my personal preference is to have a natural, no-makeup makeup look. Hope this is helpful!

Was worried when I received this and found out it was tinted, but it turns out it completely blends in and doesn't appear to give any sort of coverage as a tinted moisturizer would. No pasty look that some sunscreens leave on the skin. My skin looks healthy and glowy! I mix this with a little of my daytime moisturizer to make it a little thinner, but I think it could work as a moisturizer as well.

Nice everyday sunscreen

Nice everyday sunscreen. I thought it was tinted when I bought it but it isn't. However sits under a foundation or tinted moisturiser fine.

Great Product

This is a great product. I wear it instead of make-up and it gives me a glowing look. I have been using this product for the last 3 years and hope it doesn't get discontinued.

Great consistent product.

I have been using this sunblock on and off since I was 20 and I always go back to it. I even got my husband using it now. It does leave a slight white cast so make sure to blend it in but overall it’s great. Doesn’t break me out like other sunblocks, leaves my skin looking even and glowing and it’s priced decent

Great all natural sunblock it could have higher percentages of each but I also love the pale yellow skin color it works well with my complexion which is fair Irish it dissipates so I think it would also work fine with darker skin colors also it’s not too drying which is great and it leaves a lovely glow which I wanted I don’t want a matte sunblock which is very aging instead this just leaves a light glow which is just perfect and it works well under makeup

Greasy and strong chemical smell

Do not make the mistake of thinking this is the same product as the discontinued 40 SPF City Block only with a lower SPF. It is not. In addition to not providing as much protection from the sun, this product is greasy and has a strong chemical smell.

Good Stuff!

I love this stuff! I've been using it everyday - even in winter - for about 30 years now. I'm 65 now and people cant believe it as I have no wrinkles! now that I have dry skin, its a little harder to apply but have no fear - a solution is here! Get some CeraVe {a nice light lotion} - spread it on your face then put on the city block. Problem solved. The only thing is that I have very fair skin so I have to make sure to blend it in well {a little bit below chin level} so it doesn't clash with my pinkish=white skin.
