Sensual Resin

The packaging: The cologne intense colognes all come in a deep brown glass bottle, with the traditional silver cap. It has a good heft to it, and feels rich and indulgent. The scent: Amber Labdanum is deep and resinous, with a touch of gourmand to even it out; It opens with an almost vanilla note, and then moves into the resiny incense scent of labdanum. There is also a hint of spiciness, and the full picture brought to mind is a cathedral at night after the censers have been put away, the incense lingering with the ancient wooden pews. How it wears: Jo Malone fragrances are always a bit more mild than some of the beefier fragrance houses, but I got a good 4-6 hours with one spray with moderate sillage. In Summary:  This is a great new addition to Jo Malone's Intense collection, with a multifaceted fragrance that is truly unisex. Rich and cozy

Jo Malone Amber & Labdanum Cologne Intense is that rich, cozy scent you reach for when you want to feel a little extra without trying too hard. It’s warm, slightly smoky, and perfectly ambery with this smooth, resinous vibe that feels luxurious but not overpowering. The labdanum adds depth and a soft sweetness that makes it super comforting—almost like wrapping yourself in a chic blanket. It lasts really well on the skin and smells even better as it settles, especially if you’re into deeper, moodier fragrances. Definitely a grown, confident scent that feels perfect for evenings, cooler weather, or anytime you want to smell effortlessly put together.

Strong, masculine

This is much longer-lasting than the typical Jo Malone fragrances I’ve used. One spray was enough to last 4-5 hours on my skin/clothes. I wanted to love this, but it’s not for me. It’s a lot more oud-like and very masculine than. This definitely suits men a lot more. It doesn’t smell bad, but definite Middle Eastern/masculine notes. Smells like date night

This cologne is like a cozy warm blanket in a bottle. It's a fancy scent that's great for evenings or when it's cold outside; Perfect for date night. The first note I smell is amber, which is rich and inviting. It's not too sugary. Labdanum adds a smoky, leathery touch, making it more manly. This cologne is strong enough to last about 6-8 hours, and it's not too overpowering. If you like amber scents with a bit of smokiness, you should definitely give it a try.

Woody and classic

Too strong

I tested Jo Malone Amber Labdanum Cologne Intense mostly at night, thinking it might feel warmer and more comforting then, but honestly it was way too strong for me. On my skin it felt very heavy and intense, almost overwhelming from the first spray. The amber and woody notes were extremely dominant and never really softened. I personally didn’t enjoy the scent at all, it felt too harsh, too resinous, and not wearable for my taste. Definitely not a fragrance I would reach for again. Beautiful amazing smell

I love the smell. Absolutely beautiful. I love the fact that's its unisex !! My husband and me can smell the same. Beautiful sexy scent. Very classy smells expensive . After using the Jo Malone London Amber Labdanum perfume, for a few weeks, we decided on a 4. It's for sure unisex. I think it smells better on him. It's very deep, very strong to start, but backs off after about 4 or 5 minutes. It smells cozy & fuzzy & comfortable. So good for the Holidays for sure. I think this brand often smells & makes me feel like a family gathering. I really like it & I would recommend it for men & women. This Jo Malone Cologne is absolutely mesmerizing! What a manly, bold, and sexy smell! With this cologne, less is more. One spray is enough for the scent to last a full day and more. My husband is a salesman so his look and cleanliness is important. With this cologne, he makes a statement, a confident man ready to sell you the world. I thought I was not going to like this cologne when I sniffed it for the first time but once applied I was in love. It’s a strong scent but at the same time not overpowering, it makes a statement, it’s bold. I sprayed it in the morning before I went to work and it was still there when I got home in the evening.
