Solid Cleansing Oil - Balsam 2 w 1

This solid cleansing oil does a good job removing my daily light makeup. I have been using this to remove eye makeup and it's pretty gentle without any irritation. (I did not notice the "avoiding contact with eyes" caution on the packaging). A little bit goes a long way and it has a pleasant scent! (from fragrance)

AMAZING for sebum control

Hands down the best cleanser I've ever used. I used to struggle with clogged pores and white heads on my forehead, where my skin was always oiliest. But within a week of using this cleanser they simply disappeared! I have been using this cleanser for almost two years now and I my skin is unbelievably balanced now. No more oily T-zone, no more white heads, no more little bumps in my oily areas. My sister finally tried it out because she got it on sale and she texted me in utter shock. She couldn't believe how well it worked for her too. She struggled with similar bumps and clogged pores on her nose, all of which have completely gone away after a few days of using this cleanser. I simply cannot recommend this product enough if you struggle with sebum control!!

Too strongly scented

This product is just ok. It’s decent at removing makeup but I still always have mascara residue. The real reason I don’t love this is because the scent is SO strong. It’s overpowering and burns my eyes.

Perfect balm cleanser!

I love this product! If you do the 10-step Korean skin care routine it is perfect for step one. If not it is still a great way to get off your makeup or any dirt on your face from the day, I recommend using a foam cleanser afterwards, I feel like it just works better with one. The smell isn’t over bearing, if you don’t like a clean smell, then it won’t be for you, it reminds me of cucumbers. Definitely apply it on dry skin, don’t get any water in the container, and don’t apply it with wet hands. This cleansing balm doesn’t act as a moisturizer, it could still leave you feeling dry without a moisturizer like any cleanser will! I have dry skin and I love it

This is a great oil cleanser. Started using this as the first step in my double cleansing routine and my face feels great. It takes off all my make up and leaves feeling clean. There is a small scent to the cleanser, but it smells heavenly to me. The only thing to be careful with is cleansing your eyes as the product may creep into eyes while taking off make up. A little goes a long way so this small jar could last you a while.

Blue and Yellow Dyes!

Beware this has Blue and Yellow dyes listed in ingredients. I love several Erborian products and was so excited to try this in place of my version by Farmacy until I saw those dyes listed in the ingredients. Why on earth would they add dyes to a cleanser? I am trying to go extra clean in my routine so this one is now not good for me. I’m sure it works great but if you’re also trying to stay away from dyes, this wouldn’t be a good option.

I’ve been using this product for over a year and it’s wonderful. My skin feels clean and excess makeup is always removed.

you will NOT regret this investment !!!

this is my third full year using this amazing product! it is WORTH every penny - DO NOT USE THIS BEFORE YOUR MAKEUP!!!!!!! this is specifically to TAKE OFF MAKEUP! i would not wear makeup often because makeup remover wipes are really harsh on the eyes [sensitive skin] however because i wear makeup daily and use this product daily - it lasts me an entire year and that is because i am notoriously known for using too much of everything lol perfume, mascara, etc. [yes i know, i have a "problem" but this IS the solution!]

Disappointed

I use to love this product, especially when I’m traveling. I love the smell and the fact of how well it cleans off my make up. I would love to give it a solid 5, but I have to give it a 2 as of right now. I bought this 4 times in the last 2 months and the product has been bad. It’s usually a solid which I should know because I bought it multiple times. But the last 4 have been gooey and watery. I’m a little disappointed and I have to find a new one to love.

Not quite what I expected!

Firstly I was confused by the term ‘solid oil’, my pot contained a goopy gel with a bit of liquid in it and not the solid balm I was expecting. Used as directed it did leave my skin pleasantly soft and clean of all traces of make up. I used a damp wash cloth to remove all traces of it. One word of advice, do not use around the eyes (I mistakenly used it to remove eye makeup) as boy, it smarts! It’s a good cleanser, but not cheap.

Best Oil Cleanser I’ve Used!

Honestly... it’s AMAZING. It gently yet thoroughly cleanses my makeup off, leaving no residue. Been using this in my double cleansing for a month now, and I have oily and acne prone skin, and I had a few red spots on my cheek but using this cleanser calmed them down and now they’re gone! Going to continue to use until the day I die...
