Body hero scent dupe, but better.

This is a Glossier body hero body oil wash scent dupe. I adored the scent of that body wash but it was basically gone as soon as you dried off. so I have been searching around a solid month at least for anything that smells like the body hero. this perfume is like 95% the same. I initially got a sample through scentbird and loved it so much that I'm now spending $140 for a full size... in the middle of a pandemic..so I can just smell myself . IT IS THAT GOOD . it's very delicate feminine floral but also more than that. I dont know how to describe it but it definitely has something else that makes this more complex. like if you took a shower in an outdoor shower in the middle of a blooming field of flowers and dried off in the sun. I probably used 4 sprays yesterday afternoon and I can still smell it on my skin today. it also melts into your skin and just gets better after it mixes with your body chemistry. sighhh its just to die for.

Glossier’s Body Hero.

I adore this fragrance, it smells almost just like Glossier’s Body wash and body lotion, which I’ve been trying to find a fragrance of for a while now. So excited that this is so similar.

Smells delicious while it lasts.

Right out of the atomizer, this smells incredible. It's a 50/50 mix of neroli and sweet almond oil to me. As soon as I leave the house, I can't smell a thing, and I spray this ALL OVER ME because I know it won't last. Highly disappointing, I won't repurchase for that reason.

A scent like no other

This scent is one of my favourites. It is unique and makes me happy every time a wear it.

TRADITIONAL BUT LOVELY

It’s unusual, even for this line. It’s sweetter and more traditional than expected, too. It’s not my favorite JHAG perfume, but still, it dries down to a luxurious, feminine scent. Another winner from the House of Ricci!

An androgynous, musky neroli

Others compare Gentlewoman to Tom Ford's Neroli Portofino, with good reason, but I actually prefer this because the addition of musk makes it far more wearable for me, keeping it down to earth. It also lacks the lavender that makes most men's colognes smell so masculine. This is the only citrus perfume I own, because usually citrus becomes quite sharp on me and dissipates quickly. This lasts all day on me, and never veers into sharp territory. Gentlewoman is definitely an androgynous scent, which for me is part of the allure. I am a small woman who works in a male-dominated, testosterone-heavy industry, and this scent makes me feel authoritative. It's a floral for people who don't usually wear florals, and a citrus for people who don't usually wear citrus. For reference to other perfumes available at Sephora, I typically like musks (Serge Lutens Clair de Musc), iris/orris (something similar to Prada Iris), sandalwood/amber (Tom Ford Noir pour Femme).

Like nothing else!

Absolutely LOVE the whole line of JHG,however this particular fragrance is like NOTHING i have ever smelled before ...it doesnt smell like or remind me of anything other than what it is! I love love love Gentlewoman for its clean, sweet lovely scent ...the almond in it i think is what does it and for the record i dont like the smell of Almond , but my goodness is this WONDERFUL and worth every single penny!!!!

Really didn’t care for this scent. I know everyone has different chemistry but it smelled mildly like a cleaning product on me. Now I have Juliet Has A Gun “Moscow Mule” and “Not A Perfume” and I really like both of them even if they are a little on the mild side. But not “Gentlewoman” at all. I did return this product.

for anyone who got the "whatever" vibe.

Takes me back to my childhood as well, so I guess a lot of our parents used Coppertone Water Babies, because that is the exact scent of the initial spray! Dry down mellows into a soft, delicate floral with a light ozone note that I'm enjoying. I wouldn't purchase this in the full size but I would consider a purse spray if they offered one, just for summer memories.

Got this in sample size and had to get the big one. Love the Neroli notes and lasts long.
