Japonica French Cade Lavender 3 Wick Tin Candle - Świeca

No fragrance..?

I got a deluxe sample of this for spending a certain amount of money on an online order and it is probably the worst candle I have ever had- thank goodness I didn't spend money on it. When you open the tin and smell the candle, it's a strong artificial "fresh" chemical-type scent (zero lavender in my opinion). But then when you light it, there is zero scent that emits from it?! Kind of disappointing as I actually really enjoy the Voluspa diffuser that I recently purchased. The single star is for the very cute and aesthetic container! I will definitely find a way to reuse it! I don't know if the other candles from this company are the same (ie no fragrance when lit), but candle is for sure a pass.

Smell nothing , I have to bring my nose so close to smell it while burning. Yankee candles are far better than voluspa

Scented?? Candle

I normally love these woodsy fresh scents but this candle in particular had very little throw (even after a few hours of burning). I live in a very small condo and it barely had any impact whatsoever (other sweeter scents from Voluspa seem to be stronger). Consider paying a bit more for Nest candles as they're better

No throw

The candle itself is gorgeous. When you smell the candle it smells great. However, when lot there is really no scent at all. I bought 2 candles from this brand and they were both disappointing.

Fresh, ocean scent that's not overpowering. Will definitely be re-purchasing!

Lovely, natural scent

The tin is very pretty, the candle is well priced and the scent isn't chemically. It is a slightly masculine scent and very nice - I use it in my bedroom. The only downside is the wax burns very quickly. I would recommend this candle to anyone. I can't wait to use the tin once I am done with the candle :)

Refreshing aquatic fragrance, perfect for home

With a relaxing aquatic fragrance, this is a great choice as an everyday candle for home. I adore the fresh scent of this candle very much; it feels calming without making me feel sleepy. The soft notes of lavender are enjoyable, especially combined with the uplifting citrus tones that verbena offers. The grounding notes of French Cade Wood perfectly balances this synergy, making it an excellent choice of a candle throughout the year, at any time of day. I really enjoy lighting this candle as I clean my home each day; my family and guests are impressed with the delightful smell, and it really helps helps to create a cozy atmosphere. The only drawback of this candle is the vessel; although it does have great throw, I'm finding that the 3 wick tin containers burn very quickly so I will repurchase this in the single wick, large glass container. Overall, I highly reccomend the French Cade

While I absolutely love the scent of this candle (probably in my top two favorites scent-wise) and I've purchased it numerous times, I have to disagree with the purported burn time. It definitely is NOT a 40 hour candle. For that reason, unless they were to consider lowering their prices, this may be my last one.

The candle melted and oil spilled everywhere

I don't smell the lavender that much. It's a light summer scent for me, really soft, reminds me of a popular perfume when I was a teenager in the 90's. It's not a potent candle at all. Design is cute and it burns well. My complaint is I ordered this online in the summer and I think that since it's a blend with coconut oil, the oils dripped everywhere. I had to thoroughly clean the outside and inside of the tin and put the candle in the fridge for it to set again... So be mindful of that and maybe buy it in store or at least not during a heat wave lol. Besides that it's ok. A little underwhelming.

I love Voluspa candles! Their scents always smell natural and aren't too overwhelming. This one is a bit sweet and fresh, but it's a winter candle for me because it's a bit heavier than some of their other scents.

I bought this as a Mother's Day gift for my mom and she is OBSESSED with it. She loves lighting it, turning down the lights and reading her book. The smell is relaxing but also sensuous, and not too strong. Definitely recommend this as a gift or as a little splurge for yourself!

So glad Sephora carries these candle. They smell so good!
