[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This was a super floral and light fragrance, I thought it would be heavy but actually I love it, it’s a night time or summer time spray and it’s definitely in my rotation now. Very simple and light and will last hours

Solid flanker utilizing coconut

First spray is smooth and slightly sweet with a fresh twist. The atomizer sprays a fine mist. Dry down turns warm and woody. Good projection and lasts about 7–8 hours.

Great new smell

Like Putting On A Mood

When I first applied this fragrance the scent smelled strangely familiar. It was like a memory of another place and time. Perhaps it was the scent of coconut and a forgotten tropical beach, or maybe the lavender evoked a memory from childhood. Whatever it was, it was calming. The scents of cardamom, coconut, lavender, and bergamot all balance perfectly, and they create something together that is greater than the sum of its parts. It is very alluring. It lasts on the skin for about 4-5 hours depending on how stressful my day is. The most fascinating part of this cologne, though is the sense of Déjà vu. I feel I have encountered it before. This scent does not have to try too hard. It is like putting on a mood, and one that other people notice. I have never gotten so many compliments on a cologne as I did with this one. This may become my signature scent.

Perfect mix of a woody but also sweet smell!

It’s definitely a great masculine smell to go with formal attire. I put two squirts on and it lasted me the whole evening and I even got a couple compliments!!

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I’ve been using Valentino Uomo Born in Roma – Purple Melancholia, and it’s easily one of my favorite fragrances right now. The scent is smooth, slightly sweet, and dark in a classy way—not loud, not cheap, just confident. It lasts well and feels premium from the first spray. The real test was my girlfriend’s reaction. She went crazy the moment she smelled it. No exaggeration. She already likes the Valentino brand, and this one sealed it. I originally got it for myself, but now she keeps using it too—so clearly it’s doing something right.

I have become a huge Valentino fan as each of their scents have really hit the mark for me! Great price point for the quality and duration of the scent.

Poorly Scented Tropical Leaning Unisex Fragrance

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] In my experience, having the opportunity to test out Valentino Uomo Born in Roma Purple was not the greatest. The notes in the fragrance listed are cardamom, coconut, lavender, and amber wood, which would make you think this a nice tropical fragrance, but I thought wrong. In the initial reaction I had to the scent, I believed it was just an average designer fragrance that was nothing special. After giving this numerous opportunities to see if this fragrance would grow on me, it indeed did not. Spraying this cologne on clothes this morning led me to the reaction of “ughhhhh!” The notes in my opinion are very muddled together and blended poorly. On a positive note, the longevity is excellent and I even received a compliment many hours into the work day. With all of that being said, I will not be reaching for this fragrance in my rotation.

Good special occasion cologne

Smells very good very unique scent and I can definitely smell the woody scent after spraying and leaving it on. Good for any special occasion.I highly recommend getting this fragrance.

Great Versatile Fragrance

I received this product in exchange for my honest review. My husband really like this fragrance. It has a smooth, well - balanced scent and the atomizer sprays a very fine, even mist. The sillage is noticeable but not overpowering. It feels perfect for evenings, dates or special occasions. Works especially well in fall and winter, but overall it quite versatile.

Great Night Fragrance

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Sillage: 7/10 Noticeable opening projects to ~5 feet and leaves a nice trail for the first hour or so. Then becomes a nice scent bubble that still trails, but in a smaller area. Longevity: 8/10 Lasts about 7 hours total on my skin, but is a skin scent for the last 4 hours. Definitely a scent to be discovered, rather than announced. Notes: 8/10 I’ve let my bottle macerate for a few weeks now, and used it as a daily scent over the past week to make a review. I do not get a ton of the coconut here, but the lavender and spice are great. My fiancée said she thinks of a night time beach bonfire. Overall: 8/10
