This cologne is incredibly versatile; I wear it every day. It's suitable for work, dinner, or even a trip to the grocery store. The scent is uniquely smooth and strong, yet not overpowering. Nice night out scent

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I like this perfume, but is not an everyday scent for me. Personally I found it a little too strong at first, and I notice it does not have the best staying power staying power. I like this for a night out

It has a good scent unfortunately not GREAT as it does smell a bit unisex and that's not what I typically go for but all-in-all i've gotten a few compliments on it and it is decent. 4/5

From the very first spray, it made a strong impression, and the more I wear it, the more I appreciate its complexity and balance. The scent opens with a unique blend of mineral notes, violet leaf, and a touch of sea salt. That combination creates a fresh and vibrant introduction that feels both clean and bold. It’s not your typical citrusy fresh — it has a refined edge that immediately sets it apart. After a few minutes, the mid notes come forward, where the ginger and sage bring a subtle spice and aromatic quality. It’s that little kick of warmth and energy that keeps things interesting without being overwhelming. The dry down is what really sold me. Once it settles on the skin, you get a warm, woody base of vetiver and other woods that adds depth and a sense of elegance. Masterpiece of a fragrance that turns heads

Recently I was given an opportunity to try out a fragrance from Valentino called Born in Roma EDT. While using the fragrance for a month I honestly fell in love with the fragrance. I noticed how the fragrance had nice blend of fresh notes along with sweet, woody, and spicy notes. This complex blend created a fragrance that I feel can be used year round and for any occasion. When I first sprayed the fragrance, I was met with a fresh and woody profile. This would over time dry down to a gently sweet scent with a dash of spice. With all the years of collecting, I have yet came across a fragrance that was this complex and well crafted such as this fragrance. In my opinion I would call this fragrance a masterpiece. To go in more specifics of the note breakdown of the fragrance, the fragrance opens up with initial note of violet leaf. This would then dry down to sage that would slowly fade into a vetiver note. In addition, the fragrance had a great projection as I caught the attention of several people as well as received compliments while using the fragrance. Along with the projection, the fragrance had a great longevity of 6-8 hours. Not only was the fragrance captivating it also had an elegant bottle design alongside with packaging that exuded luxury. The bottle features the Valentino signature design that is found across bags and even shoes. Not only does the bottle look good, it also has a nice heft to it as well. In conclusion, if I were looking for a captivating scent that could be a signature scent that is used year round, I would definitely go for born in roma as it is a memorable unique scent that blends notes so well that it can be used in any season and any occasion. I will definetly be adding this fragrance to my rotation as I really enjoyed this scent over the month of wearing the scent along with the compliments I had received.

Nice Everyday Scent

Starting off with the presentation. It's nice looking bottle. Similar to the Valentino Uomo line. The cap/atomizer has been improved from the style used a few years ago. As for the scent, I get a lot of violet leaf with some sage. The violet leaf has nice metallic touch. I don't get much woods in the base, maybe a little Vetiver. The Violet leaf sticks around the whole time. It's a good everyday day scent. I get some Invictus vibes but they are different. Projection is ok and it lasted about 5 hours on my skin

Modern design, classic scent

Bottle looks very sleek and modern. The smell is strong but not pungent, with one spray lasting all day. It has quickly become one of my go to colognes!
