Excellent liner, maybe with a learning curve

This is a great eyeliner, I love it. You have to deposit the color down first and spread it out, so I can see why some people have rated it low. Once you understand how it is best used, it really is great for doing a winged liner. It's ergonomic and easy to hold steady. I use liquid liner when I want a graphic finish, and pencil liner when I want a softer more casual feel, and this one falls sort of in between. I got the bronze color which is a great light to medium brown, but definitely want to try the black once I use up the black liners I have stocked up...

Love the idea and the color, but it's not as easy to apply as advertised. Color is great, formula is pretty thin so it goes on smoothly, but takes a fairly steady hand (even with the roller) to apply with accuracy. Dries down fairly quick and doesn't budge easily after that, so you need to fix your mistakes pretty quick or carefully. I'll probably look for a brush tip metallic eyeliner when this runs out as I really like the look, but don't like the applicator much. Maybe that will change with practice!

Gorgeous, but a hassle

This was my first time trying an eye makeup product from Nudestix, so I was excited and a little nervous since I hadn’t read many reviews on this eyeliner before,... I got the shade Bronze Patina, which is a gorgeous metallic golden brown color. The applicator is very innovative, and unlike any other eyeliner you may be accustomed to. Instead of a brush or felt tip, this eyeliner has what looks like a mini pizza cutter LOL The wheel is coated in the formula and glides onto your eye super easily,... I was intrigued by this new way to apply eyeliner, but after trying it, I can honestly say that I would rather use a brush tip. The wheel glided almost too much, it was hard to control and didn’t give me the preciseness that I’m used to and prefer. That being said, I did love this color and I was still able to give myself a tiny winged look. It lasted all night long without fading, smudging, or flaking. This is usually considered a positive thing, but this became my least favorite quality of this product when it came time to take it off before bed. I used just about every makeup remover I own, and this eyeliner was NOT budging!! It eventually started to flake off after several minutes of scrubbing, but it was uncomfortable and irritated my eyes greatly. Overall, I‘m not a fan of this Rock N’ Roller Eyeliner because it’s a little TOO long-lasting (LOL) It was such a hassle to remove that I didn’t feel it was worth keeping, so I returned this product... The applicator does have a learning curve, but this gorgeously pigmented bronze color makes up for that. I give this 4 / 5 stars.

love it! Only eyeliner I can actually apply (I am eyeliner challenged) and this roller action allows me to get a smooth even line. If i want it thicker, I just go back and trace over it again. LOVE the bronze color for daytime wear. I plan to get the black soon too. My only comment is that unless I wear it with an eye primer, and eyeshadow-- it can transfer to my upper lid. Wipes off pretty easily, but I recommend letting it dry for a few seconds before blinking.

Too subtle for me

I wanted this to work better than it did. The color is pretty but super subtle. It takes a while to dry too.

LOVE

I typically love dip-pot eyeliners because I find them to be easier to control and flick for a subtle wing but THIS is the master. it is the easiest, most self-explanatory eyeliner for a novice or advanced applicator. It glides right on for a straight (i.e. not jagged) line and the bronzed patina color is so unique. I got so many compliments!

lovely color but oh so disappointing

got this in the vib sale, had my eye on it for ages, tried it in store on my hand and it was actually v difficult to take off and I have huge problems with eyeliners and I've tried a lot of them. you have to dip back into the pot after you do one eye with it, but the biggest issue I had with it is that it transferred in my upper lid like a mofo. I used powders, eyeshadows, anything and yet after like 6 hours it still transferred. so after using it 5 times in different ways and having it transfer every single time, I had to return it, which is a shame because the color was fabulous and it emphasized my blue eyes nicely but I just couldn't live with it

Love The Rock but Not the Roll

I'm a huge NUDESTIX fan and when I saw this on Taylor Frankel's insta, I knew I wanted whatever was giving her that awesome bronzey wing! But then I saw the roller and got a little nervous. The colour and formula with this is great. I'm totally hooked and it doesn't budge which is a big plus to me. But, the roller is so hit or miss. I can get the perfect flick with it (always) but getting it to follow the curve of my eye requires a lot of effort. I like it, but I'm not sure about repurchasing.

easy-peasy eyeliner

I read mixed reviews on this liner, but being a total spazz when it comes to all things winged, I loved it! It has this tiny little wheel that you just place on your lid and roll out. It seems to last all day and stays in place. I think I'll try it in black.

Not for begginers

I can see why people don't like this. I find this harder to apply than your traditional felt tip liquid eyeliner. A little bit of background, I've been applying liquid eyeliner since I was 13 and I'm 30 now, so my difficulties is not because of my technique. I think if they made the wheel a bit thicker this would work great. if you're a begginer with liquid eyeliner, I would stay away from this one, contrary to what this product is aimed towards: eyeliner beginners. However, I will keep this in my makeup collection because of the beautiful bronze patina color.
