Guerlain super aqua serum

I love guerlain super aqua serum and have used it for many years. Lovely product. However my latest purchase arrived minus the cellophane wrapping on Guerlain box and it looked as though it had been previously returned. Please check your returns Feel unique as normally an excellent service and delivery.

Horrible and Needlessly Expensive

First the amount of hyaluronic acid in this product is so minute that a 1,000x increase wouldn’t be enough water for an ant. Moreover, dry skin isn’t about water content but about repairing skin so it can maintain its natural balance of water. In truth, a 1000x increase would be damaging for skin. Just because you soak in a tub of water doesn’t mean your skin is moisturized; if anything, that will make skin drier.

By the end of the bottle...

It is a nice and very light moisturizer, although I didn't find it anything special after using it for over 3 months. Also, I got to the end of the bottle, with about 1/4 of an inch left and none was pumping out also with lots still left on the sides... I tried to remove the cap so I could get the product and its like soldered on or something!! So I had to throw it out, which was a super disappointment for an expensive product.

Not for sensitive skin

This super aqua line is not for sensitive acne prone skin.. irritated my skin badly.. but it is a good choise for people with regular skin type.

good for dry skin!

This serum is an opaque, white liquid, probably more what I would call a lotion. I use this after the "toner"-- clear liquid, similar to an essence. This is fairly lightweight, but gives good hydration. I still use additional serums and a heavy cream on top. A bit pricey for what it does-- if you're looking for a good all day hydrating serum for cold, dry winters... keep looking.

very nice serum for dehydrated skin in winter

I bought this cuz I had a sample of toner in this line and I really loved it. I have been using this serum every other day for a few weeks now and I have to say it does a wonderful job to moisturize my skin. the smell is very pleasant. I wake up with soft and supple skin the next day. I gave it 4 stars cuz it's sticky once applied. It takes a few hours for the product to be completely absorbed into the skin. I don't mind it much in winter but probably better to try out the lighter version of this during summer time .

don't feel any difference

Im a guerlain person for a long time. But i don't feel any difference from other hydra lotion conpared to this high price.

Wouldn't be without it

I have used this for quite some time and I wanted to review it here. This serum is absolutely wonderful. It has the most silky texture and absorbs very quickly. It hydrates my skin and leaves it wonderfully plump. In terms of wrinkles, they appear slightly better because they are more hydrated, but this product will not eliminate them. This product saved my skin when I started using retin a for acne/ fine line reduction.Retin a can be quite drying while your skin gets used to it and this serum made those effects minimal for me. This product, combined with retin a has done absolutely amazing things for my skin and brought my face back to looking younger and clearer than ever. I love the scent. It isn't over powering in any way. I recommend using this product in conjunction with a wrinkle treatment as wrinkle products can be particularly harsh and drying. Combining this with a wrinkle treatment should give you such soft plump younger looking skin. The bottle is gorgeous and lasts me about a year. There is a reason why the Guerlain Aqua line has been around for so long. It works.

Not worth the price

Ok so this stuff isn't bad, it's just not worth the expensive price tag. I bought it to use as both a moisturizer and serum, and while it does a fine job of moisturizing, I didn't see any of the anti-aging, line plumping benefits. I have been using it both morning and night for almost 6 months now and have not seen any improvement in my fine lines. But they also haven't gotten any worse. I did like the way this product layered with my foundation- I didn't even use a primer. For me, the fragrance wasn't too over-powering, but I can see how others might find it offensive. I will finish off the bottle, but I definitely won't be buying this again because I am sure I can find something better and more effective for less.

silky and hydrating

This is a truly amazing product!! (Currently using the light version of this) I have suffered with my skin- having acne and then suffering with dry skin I was almost terrified to try certain products incase my acne flared up! I tried this product and was so impressed and now my acne has cleared I'm going to try a thicker cream. People who are mentioning the products over bearing smell are crazy it smells beautiful! Yes it has a fragrance but guerlain- unlike other cosmetic companies use a lot of natural products in there skin care so you can rest assured you will not be in harms way! Definitely try its worth every penny!
