The first time smelling this perfume I couldn’t stop thinking about it! Every time I moved, I could smell the scent on me and had to buy more of it! It smells so refreshing and crisp, like clean laundry without any of the bad notes to crips and fresh. I get compliments on this all the time! It lasts all day and I can even smell it in my laundry basket when I throw my clothes in the wash to do a load of laundry. I would say if Chance Chanel and Dolce & Gabbana light blue had a baby, this would be its scent. 10/10 recommend!!

This is a review from a guy with an amateur nose! This fragrance right here, Sailing Day from Maison Margiela is probably one of the most complimented bottle I have in my 30+ collection and it baffles me to why that is. The Fragrance itself isn't very complex or complicated, it's very aquatic, salty, fresh, and has that clean feel you expect from a fragrance called Sailing Day, but that combination creates this unisex (leans masculine to my nose) gravitating smell that draws people in and makes them ask "Oh wow what do you have on? I need to buy this for my husband". Even without the compliment factor, I would repurchase this bottle and it's worthy to make this your signature scent for sure.

Fully transformed me

The first time I smelled this perfume I was transformed. I have never smelled a fragrance so good and so unique. It isn’t your typical floral vanilla fragrance. It’s light and fresh and genuinely smells like heaven aka water beach no stress. It lasts forever and thank you for that because I want to smell like it forever!!

Maison Margiela’s Sailing Day is a super fresh, aquatic fragrance. It smells crisp, airy, and slightly salty, like clean ocean air. Very easy to wear and perfect for summer, daytime, or when you want something light and refreshing. Only downfall is the longevity. It smells great but performance isn’t the best. Get about 2-3 hours the it becomes a skin scent.

I love the aquatic notes in this! This is such a breezy, elegant summery scent that transforms you on Italian coast. It brings brightness and is versatile for both day and night work and date night wear! I love the bottle as well!

A truly great spring and summer fragrance. Smells like a sunny day by the water, with the salty air and aquatic notes being very prevalent. Longevity is solid and projection is good without being overbearing. Overall a great fragrance.
