This was complimentary from clarins and I have been using this for weeks. If I use this with a retinol at night it is not hydrating enough for me, my skin is normal dehydrated so I need more when it comes to hydration. This is an easy night cream to add every night in your routine.

Thick but not suffocating with my hot flashes!

I’ve been using the Clarins Energy Cream for a bit now, and it’s honestly become one of those products I look forward to using every day. At my age, my skin is definitely on the drier side, and I also deal with hot flashes, so I’m really picky about moisturizers. I need hydration, but I cannot deal with anything that feels heavy or suffocating—and this one somehow gets it just right. It’s hydrating without that thick, smothering feeling some creams have. It sinks into my skin beautifully and leaves it feeling comfortable, not coated. My skin feels soft, plump, and actually nourished instead of just sitting under a layer of product. I’ve really noticed a difference in how my skin looks and feels overall. It feels firmer, like it’s actually doing something for the sagging I’ve started to notice. My skin looks smoother too—fine lines don’t feel as obvious, and there’s this subtle plumpness that just makes everything look healthier. It also helps define my facial contours a bit more, which I didn’t expect but definitely appreciate. One of my favorite things is how my skin looks in the morning. There’s this fresh, radiant glow like my skin has been renewed overnight. It doesn’t look dull or tired—it just looks more even, brighter, and alive. I’ve also noticed my pores look softer and my skin tone looks more balanced, which makes a difference even on no-makeup days. It layers really well with my serums too, which is important to me. Well I was about to tell you all of the reasons why I thought this cream didn’t work. Then I looked at my before and after pictures lol. Brighter, plumper, firmer. I did have a light on in the after photo but I can still tell. My skin is more even. The formula is on the thicker side. It’s not icky feeling but I do have oily skin so it feels a little heavy if I use too much. Because the results are giving I will definitely take that feeling. gifted by clarins

My view on new product

I received a sample of the new extra firming energy night cream. As it is only enough for two nights l can't judge on results but l would comment on the Texture: which l found a little heavy but for a night cream it will hopefully do the work during the night. Absorption: Lays on the skin rather than absorbs. Skin Felt nice in the morning

Great moisturizer

I have used a few samples of this night moisturiser and as soon my finishes I will purchase this one. It goes super smoothly onto the skin, it feels comfortable and my skin was feeling soft in the morning
