This is the first bleu de Chanel that I’m trying and I will honestly say that it smells great for a perfect night outfit definitely now for the fall. The fragrance does have a rich wood and leather type of vibe once you spray it on, but yeah, there is a subtle softness to the fragrance as well as I mentioned this is a perfect for the fall and winter time it just gives orange leaves on the ground.

It still smells like the Bleu we all know, just smoother and a little darker. Think less “fresh out of the shower” and more “evening out, low lighting, maybe a leather jacket.” It opens kinda familiar — that classic clean Bleu vibe — but once it settles, you get some warm woods, amber, a tiny bit of smoky resin. It’s rich but not heavy. Feels classy without trying too hard. Performance-wise, it hangs around for a while but doesn’t project crazy strong after the first hour or so. More of a “you’ll smell good when someone gets close” type scent. Overall, I really like it. I just don’t know if I’d pay the full price — it’s a bit steep. But if you’re already a Bleu fan and want something a little more mature for nights out or fall weather, this one’s worth checking out.

Stands up to my niche cologne collection

This is a warm and spicy cologne that I like for date nights. It has a place next to my Creed and Tom Fords. It stands up to the more premium and niche options and I reach for it often as my girlfriend really enjoys the scent. It projects and leaves a scent trail for hours, and some evenings, I spritz it on my pillow before bed when I want a refresh.

Chanel L’Exclusif is such a classy scent. It starts off fresh and clean, then settles into this warm, woody vibe that feels super smooth and sophisticated. It’s bold but not too strong, just the right balance. Definitely feels like a “special occasion” fragrance, but honestly, it’s so good you’ll want to wear it everyday.

This product is amazing. I was getting complements all day on how good I smelled. The notes woody and spicy. The scent lasts all day which is great because a little goes a long way. Highly recommend!!!!

I have a few Chanel fragrances, and this one is just as wonderful. It’s very clean and classy, and it’s not super strong. I would say it’s long lasting, but it’s not super strong, so I get used to the smell rather fast.

Fancy name brand, luxurious scent, excellent price

Bleu is the fanciest brand that I now own and immediately became my favorite scent! Here's why I like it so much: Smell: I typically don't go for the woodsy scents, but this one is different. It smells very refined, almost subtle. People comment how nice it is in confined spaces like elevators and it's not overwhelming. That's probably why the ladies like it so much! Lasts all day: I don't have to spray myself multiple times to have the nice smell at the end of the day. I don't like having to smell strong at the start of the day just to have the scent at the end of the day. One good spray lasts all day and I still can smell it when I get home. Value: I typically wouldn't spend this much on a cologne/perfume, but considering that I only have to spray once, it actually works out to be cheaper than a cologne half the price when I have to use multiple sprays. This is also a quality name recognized product. I really recommend this to treat yourself. I'm also sure the name and look of the bottle would also wow any gift recipient.

Mature and sophisticated

I received this product to try in exchange for an honest review. After using this Bleu de Chanel fragrance for the past 2 weeks, its grown to be one or my favorites. I typically wear more fruity vibrant fragrances, but with fall coming into the mix, I decided to change things up and I’m glad I did! The calm woodsy scent that lingers once the fragrance settles is very pleasant, perfect for work or evenings. I love that it does not stand out, although that might change depending on the user and the amount used. However, I must say this is quickly becoming one of my favorite go to’s. I believe it’s worth the investment and falls into the less is more category. Being that it is a Perfaum, one spray stays on me for a long time. I would highly recommend this to anyone seeking a more mature fragrance that will last and not need constant applying throughout the day. Chanel, you’ve gained a fan!
