I have used this for years. It is the best eyeshadow/eyeliner. While it is expensive, it lasts a long time. This is easy to apply, lasts all day, and works on sensitive skin. I hope NARS doesn't discontinue this product.

I would buy again

The consistency is thin so your not sure if it will hold shadow in place but once it dries, the shadow base is solid and holds shadow both cream and powder.

Perfect base for all types of shadows

Best eyeshadow base out there! Glides in smoothly, has no odor like some other brands, and my shadow lasts the entire day. No touch up needed if I go out at end of day either. Used to use it with powder shadow, but I've been only using cream stick shadows for a few years now. It's perfect for those.

Great base

I have been using this eyeshadow base for several years now! I love it. My eyeshadow stays in place and the colors stay vibrant. Goes a long way, worth the price.

Great eyeshadow

I had a problem with every eyeliner, because it never lasted more than a few minutes, even in the Winter. With this Nars eyeshadow the problem is solved. Even in very hot days, 40 Celsius degrees, the eyeliner stays exactly where it should be. Now I feel confident with my eye makeup. I use it seven days per week and my eyelids feel very confortable. I have sensitive skin, but I feel ok. Nonetheless, it is very easy to remove makeup at the end of the day. I strongly recomend it.

Good, sticky, and smooth

I've been using the UD eye primer for mature skin, and decided to try this product. It definitely smooths the eye area and eyeshadow sticks to it. It's also very visible, so be sure you put it where you want product over it. It is bright white. But it takes color really well. I'll use it and the UD going forward.

Miss the tinted base

This product works well enough but does not compare well to the tinted base. It was the best smudge proof eye shadow base. I've started looking elsewhere for tinted bases. I hope it comes back!

Great product

Works beautifully to prime eyelids for makeup. Eyeshadow clings better and gives opaque coverage and doesn't crease after hours of wear.

I am older so dealing with more lines/creases now. This product is fantastic and keeps my eyeshadow where I put it all day long with no creasing. Just a small amount on the lids and I actually do a small amount below my eye as well. Gently spread across the lids and below then give it a moment to dry. You can't feel a thing so this doesn't feel like you have something extra on your eyes. It's consistency is smooth and application is quick and easy. Like all Nars products the quality is top notch so a little goes a long way!
