buy the resistance serum instead, this one sucks

i made an account just to leave a review on this product if that clues you in on how this is about to go! this formula has a weird almost jelly-like consistency that it makes it hard to evenly distribute across your scalp. on the areas where i WAS able to apply it, there was no soothing or hydrating effect. honestly my scalp and hair felt so much worse after using this product, not in an allergy way but in a crunchy, heavy, itchy way. i applied this on both towel dried and fully dried hair as a pre-shampoo treatment, but the results for both even after blow drying weren’t great. the fragrance was fairly strong so i don’t know if this would be safe for people sensitive skin either. i’m so confused to see reviews praising how soft this made other people’s hair, im wondering if there was a formula change at some point. the only potential benefit i could predict after using this limited use (1wk) with negative results is that it MIGHT help with grease control. i only say that because it made my hair dry as a hay bale, though. if that potential benefit outweighs the costs for you, then sure: buy this product. the only reason i picked it up was to see if i liked it better than the keristase resistance serum (which i actually recommend), and i didn’t. the resistance serum is way more soothing and helped to control hot spots on my scalp, plus the formula is super light and doesn’t weigh your hair down no matter the type of application. go buy that one instead!

I bought this scalp serum expecting high results since I adore all of the other products from kerastase but this was unfortunately a miss. Was disappointing and doesn’t hydrate my dry/itchy scalp at all. I would recommend just getting tea tree oil

Worked at first but then stopped

I orginally really loved this product and made a review on how good it was. The effects only lasted about a week even though I have been using it consistently. It doesn't really help anymore

smells amazing!

I can’t believe the reviews I saw saying that this had a bad smell!!! It smells sooo amazing and it makes my hair look great too

surprisingly effective

We are getting into the dry months of winter, my scalp always suffers ! I've been using this for 2 weeks, I'm happy with what it's done for my scalp, I haven't had any itch or flaking. I would love to give this 5 stars for keeping the embarrassing winter dandruff at bay, but I absolutely can't stand the smell of it. it does fade away, I like to put this on my scalp before bed (I use their overnight hair serum on my ends as well), the smell does fade away through the night but it is a very heavy powdery/perfume smell that I personally don't find delightful, if heavy scents like that give you a headache be mindful of this.

Decent product

The scent is a light perfume scent at first but once it dried I cant smell it anymore. I was dealing with an itchy scalp with salt like dandruff but after using this on my scalp it is no longer itchy and I dont feel any salt like dandruff anymore. As for the texture of my hair I don’t notice a difference

The smell

I use to love Kerastase, but the smell of this product is overpowering! If you are sensitive to smell it could be not a good option for you. This is a first time a feel disappointed by a Kerastase product.

A Totally Underwhelming Product

I was so excited about purchasing this as I typically love Kérastase products, but this one was a complete letdown. It didn’t revitalize or refresh my semi-dry scalp in any way at all. I was hoping for that tingling or cooling sensation that comes with some scalp products-but I felt literally no difference at all. It felt like putting an olive oil into my scalp that then turned into nothing. I’ve been using this product for two weeks and I cannot say it has changed my hair or scalp for better or worse. Definitely save your money for a different scalp product that reaps benefits.

Fragrance is insanely strong. I have been using the Living proof scalp treatment for years and it’s fantastic, this one makes my scalp burn and itchy within seconds of applying it. Most probably caused by this crazy fragrance.

It is very strongly scented, like perfume! Can be irritating. It nourishes the scalp a little bit but the scent counteracts it by being irritating to the scalp. i wish they had it be more natural, maybe it would've been a better product.

Must have!!!!

Saved my hair. Had lots of shedding and my hair healthier now. On my second bottle and bought a third one. Using after I wash my hair as indicated.
