GENESIS Serum

Too scented for me.

I was disappointed with this product. Not only was it super perfumey, it also did not really help with the breakage in my hair. If you do like scent in your hair, it does last a long time, days in between shampoos, but for me it was too much. I used this twice a week with my hair routine. great addition to my haircare

I’ve been using the Kérastase Genesis Serum consistently I also recommanded it to my friends with similar hair texture as me. I can really see a difference in how much hair I’m losing day to day. My hair is on the weaker side and I usually notice a lot of strands on my pillow, in the shower, and when I brush. Since adding this serum into my routine, I’m seeing less shedding and my hair feels stronger overall.texture is super lightweight and not greasy at all, which I love. It absorbs quickly into the scalp and doesn’t make my roots look oily or weighed down. I can use it and still style my hair like normal. The dropper makes it easy to apply directly to the scalp, and I just massage it in for a minute.

decent but expensive

While I do think this product works, I don't know if it worked well enough for me to justify the price. I went through 2 bottles and did see a very small decrease in shedding and new growth, but it also could have just been the passage of time or the change in nutrition. I did find the smell quite fruity and pleasant, kind of like a citrus grapefruit flavour.

I absolutely love the smell of this serum! I wish there were a perfume that smelled just like it, I have gotten so many compliments on the smell of my hair. Not only has it made my hair feel healthier, but it also leaves it incredibly soft and shiny. After using it daily for six weeks, I’m even seeing some new growth (some baby hairs). I have an oily scalp, and I was surprised that it actually helped make my scalp less dry! Which is great for me but I’m not sure how it would work for someone with a naturally dry scalp. A new regular buy!

There is nothing better than when a product lives up to the claims. I’ve been using this in combination with the shampoo and conditioner and my hair has shed less, is smoother, and SO shiny! I was hesitant to use as much as the directions say as my hair is fine, but it did not make it look greasy at all. Even my hair stylist commented on how healthy my hair looked at my last appointment. I have used it consistently, around three times a week, for over a month, but the benefits were noticed immediately. I’m obsessed with this hair serum — it seriously changed my hair. It smooths out all my frizz without making my hair greasy or heavy, and it leaves everything feeling super soft and healthy. My hair looks so much more put-together, and the shine is insane.

I have been using this for around 2 months now. It has helped lots with hair fall as I don’t see it as much but I did find it could dry out my scalp sometimes. felt high quality, nice smell

used this in conjuction with the other products in the line for a few weeks showering in the evening. it's quite possible it helped with hair strength, but may also be a placebo effect. the scent was nice and lasted kind of long. as a serum, especially in the first few times as my hair was getting used to the switch, it felt like there was some interesting texture coming up along my scalp. I added in a double cleanse with my normal soak and float from lush (hair is oily at roots, combo elsewhere, and sometimes prone to flaking) and that got better over time. measuring packing was a nice touch but could get a bit messy, especially measuring then using all my hands to massage in sections until everything was covered. was nice but unsure if worked extremely well in my case.
