One of the best scents I’ve had in a while

Okay the bottle itself I love it! The design is so sleek, I just knew it was going to smell good before even smelling it. The price for this bottle is a great middle. Nothing too expensive but good enough to splurge for this size of bottle and a scent that lasts! I wear it for every occcasion it’s so versatile!

Tops Any Big Brands Out There!

Smell is super consistent. Definitely my favorite and my husbands as well we live musky/ woody smooth colognes but most never have a long lasting scent, this one absolutely does. Worth the price i will be buying this again. This is no high school cheap colognes this is something very unique my husband is so glad I ran across this as he was getting tired of colognes like Dior Sauvage and Versace. This is at the top of his collection. Spray system on this bottle is really good has a great spread more like a generous mist to it.

Not for me

I really wanted to love this perfume but it’s just not for me personally. The packaging and bottle is beautiful and high quality but the scent is just not my favorite. It’s a little too strong and musky for my taste as I prefer more of a sweet or fruity fragrance. It seems versatile enough to be worn as a unisex scent if that’s the kind of fragrance you like but for me it leans more masculine so I gave it to my husband.

Overpowering smell.

This perfume really disappointed me I was very excited to try this perfume out and had high hopes I would like it but sadly I don’t. The bottle is pretty and the box is nice but It’s very strong smelling one spray is even too much . It’s smells very musky and like wood. It’s not sweet or soft at all. The price isn’t worth it in my opinion.

Quality packaging, not a fan of this scent

2 stars because the packing feels and is high end, it’s quality, heavy glass and a good spray- not too much and not too little. Personally I just really don’t like the scent. I was hoping for a gender neutral scent, but to me it smelled like locker room. Since I can’t get behind the scent, I can’t say I would pay that price for this perfume but I’m looking forward to trying other scents from this brand.

It’s definitely worth it in my opinion

My boyfriend loves the smell, the packaging was lil damage but no biggie and I mean I love it myself! Its worth it if you don’t like super sweet smells

Sultry and clean scent for everyone

Sultry clean unique scent. Love the idea of the notes in this fragrance, can be for men or women and hirs just as nicely. Still need to test for longevity otherwise I am satisfied with this fragrance

Not the “Ideal one” for me

I really wanted to love this, but it was way too overpowering for me. The musky oud base completely took over and gave me a headache within minutes. It’s supposed to be a soft, skin-like scent, but it felt heavy and intense the entire wear.. Beautiful concept, just not wearable for someone who prefers subtle or clean fragrances.

Musky

I was excited to get this and try it especially since I love smells with lavender and vanilla but with all the other scents in it this was just too musky for me. I think it smelled better on my husband and he really likes it. The scent is long lasting and a little goes a long way. Black bottle with silver label was cool.

So rich

This is the deepest scent I’ve tried so far from Maison Margiela. I’m used to their softer frags but this one is quite rich and complex. It definitely leans masculine. It’s fresh, woodsy and so aromatic. Has a slight “burn” quality to it. It gives me a good 7 hour wear time. Great longevity, just wish the scent wasn’t so masculine.

Beautiful, deep, bold, and soothing fragrance.

Maison Margiela Replica Ideal One is one of those scents that just sticks with you in the best way. I love love love the lavender that hits right at the start. It’s soothing and not boring, like a quiet confidence. Then the deep leather rolls in rich, bold, a little smoky, and it’s absolutely beautiful. What really gets me, though, is the dry down. It softens into this warm, smooth vibe that feels like wearing a perfectly worn leather jacket on a rainy evening. It gives me serious speakeasy energy dim lights, smoky air, something mysterious in the atmosphere. My fiancée is obsessed with it and she can’t stop smelling my clothes when I have it on. Honestly, neither can I. I recommend this if you’re a fan of oud fragrances.
