THE PERFECT RED

I've been using this pencil since I started putting on makeup. It is LITERALLY the perfect red. I line with this on top of every matte lip I chose to use. It's hydrating and extremely pigmented with a beautiful blue undertone. I've used it with the Sephora Collection Always Red 1, Stila: Fiery, Hour Glass Icon Liquid Lipstick, Urban Decay Rocksteady, etc... and ICON always makes my lips look almost HD or animated and BEAUTIFUL. I cannot live without this pencil. It is my go to for every Red Lip.

I have used a lot of lip liners ...this one is the BEST I ever bought. It stays on for hours and does NOT BLEED even with lip gloss. Please... Don't ever discontinue this lip liner.....I'm hooked! Empress is an awesome color .

I go between this one and make up for ever. It glides on easy and does not dry out my lips.

This lipliner is super smooth...you could honestly fill in the rest of your lips with it and use it as a lipstick. Surprisingly it does NOT transfer...I really like this liner! I got this liner in the color 'Empress', which is basically a hot pink with a reddish undertone. Take a look at the video I made with it on!

not worth the price !

The formula of this liner is not the greatest. It is very dry and not pigmented enough for me. For the price I was expecting so much more.

This lip pencil is great to wear both under lipsticks and by itself! I purchased it in the color Canvas, originally to tone down bright reds. I love the formulation because it is so dry that it really keeps your lip color set.

Eden Shade

This lip liner is a bit pricey but its well worth it. I have a lipstick and lip liner holder with almost every shade I could think of besides a nude brown. I saw the shade Eden while shopping last week when the sale was going on however I bought the color of Canvas. Between the two shades I couldn't make up my mind they're both are beautiful! I came home and ordered the "Eden" shade too, very glad I did as these liners are the top of the line by far. I always use a lip primer then apply my liner sometimes with a lipstick, at timesj just a liner and feather it out. Both of these shades glide on the lip line with one swipe and it stays and helps keep your lips looking stunting for hours after applying, the liners don't wear off unless you take it off. I have only wore the Eden shade as of now, I tried to take a couple of photos as the shade of "Eden" is more of a brown a couple shades lighter than in the photo. The color will go great with almost any nude or brown shades of lipstick or even a gloss lite pink! The tube has two ends with a snap on cover on each end, the lip liner and the nice smooth brush, no dragging when applying on your lips! This liner would be travel friendly in your satchel with no worries of it coming off. I love the flat tip brush on the other end as shown in one of the photos to get a better idea of the shade. I have just ordered the Empress being Sephora has the 20% off again starting the 11th for VIB an VIB Rouge members, this sale comes through the mail. However like my husband tells me, I never look at prices if i like it I'll put it in my basket. This lip liner is well worth every penny with a matte nude/brown that would look good with any complexion. I strongly recommend this lip liner before its gone to anyone that is looking for one of the best out there. A+ on this one by Hourglass! Great for just lining the lips then using the brush to feather it out, many ways to use this fabulous brand. I personally would pay more for this liner if I had too its just that wonderful!

canvas shade

This lip liner will not disappoint you! It's so expensive but it is legit! No pasty, thick drying consistency, no dragging and tugging on the lips. It's gorgeous and really gives an amazing backing to a gloss or lipstick. I also LOVE wearing this alone. It comes off as a soft matte pink with an almost unnoticeable sheen and shimmer which keeps it from looking dry and super matte. I really love wearing it because I know when my lipstick starts to fade away, this will still be there making my lips appear healthy and lightly blushed. The brush on the end is a really nice feature for smoothing out harsh lines from the pencil or for smudging in the lip color you might be adding on top of the liner. The only bummer I can see is the price. With lip pencils, I can only get about 3 uses in between sharpening (I almost always line and fill my entire lip). It is kind of a pain to carry around a sharpener and also a bummer to sharpen away product. But that's just the nature of a lip pencil in the beauty industry so I can't knock it. I have tried the self sharpening ones and ones that don't need sharpening and find a true pencil to have better longevity and staying power, therefore making it better value. This liner in this color-Canvas, is a staple if you use soft pinks or nudes or enjoy glosses but want them to have more color payoff. I want eden shade next-these suckers are pricey though! Not many color selections but for me, Canvas is universal enough to fit 80% of my lip liner needs! I also love givenchy lip pencil in lip nude 12. It's my other must have-that one is a truer nude. Canvas is for my pinks and lip nude is for my nudes! Love this pencil!

Go to lip liner

I know this is expensive... but in my opinion, it's worth every penny. This actually stays all. day. long without drying out my lips. This color happens to be perfect for my lip color as well as pretty much going with every single nude/brown lipstick I own. It's super versatile. I actually use it mostly with my Hourglass lipstick in Peace because it's a perfect combo.

The color is great and lasts long but does not go on smooth bc it is too dry...for this reason alone i will not purchase again.

Great liner....but

You need a sharpener right when you take out of box. I didn't have one on me at the time and had to run to buy one. Would be nice to have had that instant gratification with an already sharpened liner ready to rock out the box. Color is wonderful went on smoothly.

I bought this pencil in Raven (my all-time favorite lipstick shade) and once I saw the intense pigment I covered my lips with the pencil. I barely used the actual lipstick when I was done with the liner and I was so impressed with the results! I hardly had to touch up once during the day. I'd never met a lip liner that could stand on its own but it's this one! I love it! I do wish it came in different packaging though, as the liner can break and fall out when I sharpen it.
