My all time favorite scent.

OMG it's back! I am in love with this parfum and I have never said that about any other parfum.

Pumpkin pie spice and Thanksgiving in a bottle. It's very warm and cozy and definitely unique but also smells like a kitchen on thanksgiving or pumpkin spice latte syrup. not my thing. I expected to like it way more than I actually do.

Closest thing to a signature scent I own. Whenever I wear it, I cannot stop smelling myself. Lasts a super long time.

My Signature Scent

This is a really unique scent that's a little difficult to describe, but it works for any season and is so yummy.

This scent is incredible. Delicious and captivating, warm and complex. I get a great deal of pumpkin and ginger in this, but not in a too strong kind of way. Never expected to love it as much as I do.

Astonishingly good!

I've had my eye on this fragrance for months but was so unsure about how it would work on me that I resisted the temptation to make a blind purchase. Luckliy I found it today in my local Sephora! The ginger grabs you at first creating shock value and then it morphs into a refined, alluring sweet ( not candy ) fragrance. I bought it on the spot!! Not a blind purchase...

first "fat electrician" is the number 1 unisex, delicious.." like this" is a orangey summer unique scent. to me second best of all scents.

Beautiful and elegant, like Tilda Swinton

I love this perfume and am a long time fan of ELDO in general. It would be great if Sephora started carrying some of these fragrances in store, since you're pretty much going to have to buy unsmelled unless you're able to come by a sample. (The sampler pack offered from sephora is great, fyi). This perfume is elegant beautiful, and slightly strange, much like Tilda Swinton, and it is warm, like the poem that inspired it. It starts off as a zingy ginger citrus, and as it dries down it gets warmer and sweeter, with a lovely bizarre maple note. I love it. I wish I could pull of casual elegance like Ms. Swinton, but at least I can smell like her, lol. The only complaint I have with this fragrance is that even as an EDP it is very light. It does not have much sillage and it does not last long unless you really get your nose close to the skin. Doing that, it can be detected for about 4 hours, but only people who are very close to you would notice it. It's surprisingly understated and sophisticated. I have repurchased it several times.

I like this! I risked a blind buy of a 1 oz bottle based on the notes and description, and to me this smells like fall. I get gingerbread, pumpkin and hay-warm, sweet and earthy. Its a unique fragrance, but very wearable and without smelling like a seasonal scented candle. It's those crisp cool days, crunchy yellow leaves and orange sunsets in a bottle and I'm confident this fragrance will be my go-to scent this October.

Unlike any other fragrance

I received a sample of this and proceeded to purchase a full-sized bottle. I love the unique scent! Finally something "warm" without a heavy musk or patchouli scent. It has a lovely citrus/ginger scent, but is definitely not overbearing. And it lasts ALL DAY. Since it is so unique, I recommend getting a sample if possible and wearing for a few days to see how it mixes with your natural chemistry.

Beautiful - But Skin Chemistry Dependent

Got a small size of this perfume in the Etat Libre d'Orange sampler kit. My natural skin scent is soft and sweet with hints of peach. Consequentially this scent plays into that softness and sweetness resulting in a warm cozy scent reminiscent of curling up in a warm blanket with a mandarin orange, pumpkin spice tea and a ginger cookie reading a book on a cold day. My sister's natural skin chemistry is more acidic than mine - she naturally smells like citrus with subtle vanilla tones to her skin. Consequentially this perfume adopts a brighter quality on her skins - the ginger and citrus shine through and it comes through as a brighter perfume with warm soft musky undertones creating sultry notes. It becomes more youthful on her - like if you rolled a creamsicle in gingerbread crumb. My mother has more mature skin - with a naturally powdery musky sweet smell. This scent is best on her - the lively ginger and orange play through the start of it, but it settles down into this cozy earthy sweetness. It's soft but maturely sexy and subtle. Overall this is a very unique scent - I don't recommend this for people who like their perfumes heavily floral or more orientally spicy. This doesn't fit either of those categorizations in spite of the subtle spice and floral notes. The spice and floral notes are simply accents to a scent base exactly as described: pumpkin, ginger and orange. These shine through in a mature version of wearing the best scents of a fall bakery with a sultry base that entices and seduces your senses.
