I have been using Shiseido Products for about 7 years now. First time using Revitalizing Essence. Keep my skin well-hydrated.

I use this essence as a first step in my multi-step skincare routine. I like the liquid consistency and the way it absorbs into my skin. Will definitely keep it as a staple. I like the bottle, it has such a beautiful deep burgundy color and a simple shape, and I will keep it as a decoration once the contents are gone; however, it is not the best design in terms of the use, I would much prefer a pump.

Sad to see it go

I love this powerhouse product and I'm disappointed that it's been discontinued. I'm hoping they bring this back. Why mess with a sure thing?

Delightful as a Man's Aftershave Lotion

I use the Shiseido Revitalizing Essence as a post shave lotion. Quite soothing and with a refreshing scent. Good stuff and recommended for the guys.

A real deal!

I love everything about this product regardless of its glass bottle. This essence is true to its claims! My skin becomes soft and stays hydrated after diligently using it for a week. Before, the skin around my lips cracked and dried easily. Not anymore! I highly recommend it.

Love this! Apply it right after washing my face; have been using it for years; feel it helps to keep my skin young and supple. The container is so pretty, as well. Please do not discontinue; it's lovely!

The product is very light weight. It's also easily absorbed, leaving the face ready for moisturizer.

A part of History

I'm new to this product, but not to Shiseido. I've been using the brand off and on for over a decade. I'm very sad to hear that they're discontinuing the product. I understand that they're updating the formula, which is always good. As ingredients become more efficient things need to improve. I just wish Shiseido would leave the packaging alone. It's exquisite! I managed to purchase a couple bottles of it before it was discontinued. I'll use them and then keep the bottles on my vanity. Mainly as a reminder of the company's beauty and where they started. Since it's been around since 1897 (and used by Geisha), it's got to be good!? For my skin, it's very hydrating and does wonders at helping additional products absorb and my skin stays hydrated all day. I've used countless products similar to this, and only 1 or 2 can even come close to it.

The Essence of Shiseido

I've been using this product for more then 25 years. Very sad that it seems to be discontinued for the time being. I'm hoping that Shiseido will reconsider its decision, and realizes the importance of this product - as it's the first product of the company. A company doesn't remember its origin is a company NOT worthy of my money.

DISAPPOINTED

Love this product but the bottle malfunctioned. Cannot open the bottle and it's new. I've been using Shiseido products for many years. Since the product is discontinued the store cannot find the item in the system. just a huge waste of time and money. Bottle was only used twice and never opened again. Designed bottle is ridiculous!
