Literally the best scent ever, I always get compliments when I wear it and my friends always ask to borrow it. It’s light, floral, and beach-y without being sweet or sugary. Absolutely love this product, and the staying power is great.

A scent of citrus heaven..

I like it!!! The cool, citrusy scent real uplifts my senses and head in a tropical island!!! Great size to travel with without much added weight.

Confirmed Discontinuation of a Beautiful Scent

Atelier Cologne has just announced that they are pulling their stock entirely from the Canadian and US markets. It's such a shame as this perfume has long been a favourite of mine. I haven't found another perfume that holds the same citrus strength (that isn't lemon forward). Wears beautifully and faded nicely over the course of a day. I will miss this brand!

LOVE

LOVE this scent. It's citrusy without being too acidic and has nice aquatic twist. It reminds me of standing on the beach in Capri with the smells of the ocean and citrus coming together. This has replaced D&G Light Blue as my favourite summer fragrance. I hope it's not discontinued.

Citrusy Goodness

This is such a beautiful scent for Spring! So citrusy & juicy! I get soooo much of the clementine and orange notes! It’s like someone sliced open an orange and the juices spritzed into the air. So fresh & light! And there’s a beautiful woody note that keeps it grounded and that also keeps it from veering too far off into candy-like sweetness. There’s also a tiny tinge of spice to it that keeps it interesting! This is a really beautiful fragrance. Highly recommend!

Bitter orange smell

This smelled like bitter or unripe orange to me, like all of the best of the "clementine" was removed. Closer to furniture polish than fruit, and definitely not CA.

good scent

I really liked it, it was one of the three perfumes I took to study abroad and I was always excited to put it on. since it's hard to get a feel for scents without smelling them, here's some info about my vibe: early 20's/computer science student/likes to makes very specific Spotify playlists/sagittarius

My fave scent ever, it smells different on than in the bottle but it gives me such summer beachy vibes and smells so fresh and delicious!

not for me

Received this perfume as a free sample. This perfume reminds me of a shower jell, like the ones at bath and body works. So I guess it does has a “fresh” sent, but I don’t really like it. Doesn’t really smell fruity.

long review ahead...

I orginally received a sample of this and just thought it was ok. I would use it on days I didn't want to "waste my good perfume" because it seemed like a safe/easy casual scent. One night before bed I sprayed myself and for some reason it just hit me and I fell in love. I waited a couple weeks before purchasing the full size last night to make sure I did indeed like it. This is NOTHING like my typical scents. I usually like warm woody gourmands or florals. Mon guerlain is my all time favorite and I love Killian angels share so orginally to me clementine California was "generic" and not sexy. I still wouldn't call this sexy or ground breaking unique and I wouldn't wear it for date night but it is a wonderful casual scent that I feel is very inoffensive so that it would be safe for occasions where you can't go overboard. I do find it to be strong though so I would use a light hand if you want to make sure it's not too overpowering. Me personally, there is no such thing as too strong lol but I have many family members who don't like perfume and get headaches from perfume so I would use this lightly but it's still the perfect scent when I'm around them. Most perfumes don't last more then an hour on my skin so I always spray my clothes if I want longevity but that's most perfumes for me anyway so I don't hold that against Clementine California. I mainly smell clementine but the vetiver does give it a woody undertone. I would definitely call this unisex but it leans feminine in my opinion. My husband likes the smell as well and agreed it is unisex but said he'd prefer it on me rather then himself. As I said, it is not particularly "unique" but it is unique to my personal collection and was a much needed addition. I also have a full size bottle of vanilla insensee by Atlier and VERY much so enjoy that scent as well so I purchased a 10ML travel size of pacific lime because I am now intrigued by all their scents, even the citrus ones that I used to steer clear of!
