This leaves a very thick residue no matter how much you rinse. It weighed down my hair badly and made it greasy. I did not like it at all. I tried it a few times but the result was always the same.

I have frizzy but manageable colored hair and was looking for a new shampoo that will moisturize and protect my color. This made my hair tangle, rough, and resemble a birds nest on the ends. The smell is not great either (smells like Palmer’s cocoa butter lotion but in a bad way). Sad this was a miss for Me.

Smells amazing! Like bergamont and light floral woods. Didn't seem to strip my hair, but my hair felt "clean". I have shoulder length highly porous 3C/B curls with bleached tips.

Awesome for curly hair

This is the only shampoo I’ve found that leaves my frizzy, curly, color treated hair soft and frizz free. I love that it’s sulfate free and the smell is nice.

Smells wonderful

Absolutely loved the scent. It has a cream like texture that doesn't really lather much. I have very dry hair so I wished it added some moisture to my hair, but didn't really do much. It is a bit too over priced compared to other shampoos.

This product leaves a white residue and rough texture to my hair. Even after washing out twice.

I don't know, this shampoo probably protects hair color, BUT after using it I looked like Hagrid from Harry Potter. My hair was dry as straw. Never again, never!

Tried as alternative to other color shampoo

My hair is very healthy. This product made my hair feel like straw and made it full of static. Smell is really off-putting . Smells like hand sanitizer or cleaner.

Smelly, but effective.

I dyed my hair purple a few weeks ago and I bought this shampoo to help the color last longer. I've been using it for two weeks now and my color hasn't faded one bit. HOWEVER, I must warn, this shampoo has a very weird smell. I almost couldn't stand it the first few times I used it, but the conditioner helps cover up the smell afterwards.

Excellent product. If you have naturally oily hair, this product is for you! Really deep cleans your scalp and makes your hair feel smooth without feeling too dry.

I used this shampoo with the colour shield mask and have been using it for the past week now. I've coloured my hair several times now and this does help with the colour fading. I wash my hair very frequently and after 8 washes, the colour is still holding up. There is just a distinctive smell, but overall, a good shampoo for coloured hair.

I was expecting much better based on the excellent reviews. I thought it lathered really well and left my hair feeling very clean, although It did strip off some of my color. It also left my shortish hair a tangled mess. I probably would of liked it better if it had a matching conditioner as I always condition my hair after washing and I didn’t purchase the hair mask because I rarely use one and prefer a conditioner after shampooing. I may still try the mask. I can’t agree with most reviewers that this smells great. I didn’t care for the smell at all it is like a stale grapefruit scent. I wish this line had more conditioners to match the shampoos and less hair masks.
