Amazing!

I was sent this shampoo at no cost for an honest review, and I was incredibly excited to try Olaplex's new N°.4 Fine Bond Maintenance Shampoo, and boy they did not let me down. I have a lot of hair, but it is baby fine, and have tried so many options to breathe life into it, to no avail. Until this perfect shampoo by Olaplex! The scent is absolutely divine, its a pretty clean- not over scented like so many products. It lathered amazingly well, I felt like I could actively feel it cleaning my hair! The rinse out was easy and clean, and my hair felt fresh and similar to going to the salon! Another huge plus was color retention. I'm incredibly thankful to report that it didn't strip my color, which is always a worry. Just amazing!

This product has truly saved my hair

This product has truly saved my hair—and honestly, my life. I used to feel so discouraged because my hair was extremely damaged, brittle, frizzy, and lifeless. Thanks to consistent use of Olaplex, my hair has regained its shine and strength. Olaplex No.4 is a daily shampoo suitable for all hair types. It’s ultra-hydrating, reparative, and helps protect against split ends. The formula is enriched with coconut extract to lock in moisture, making it perfect for preserving color treatments and maintaining the results of hair-smoothing procedures.

Olaplex shampo

I enjoyed testing out this product. The smell was okay. Nothing to write home about however. After the first use I noticed that my hair was really shiny and fluffy. It works well with its counterpart conditioner. After using the product for a week, the texture of my hair seemed smoother and softer with more volume and bounce. I would purchase this product again on my own because my hair looks pretty good I received this product as a gift in return for my honest review.

Shampoo

This is a fabulous shampoo for my damaged, fine and thin hair. I regularly use heat and highlight my hair at a salon for some background information. This shampoo makes my hair feel clean, without weighing it down while also helping my hair feel boosted/protein enriched and shiny. It is not too heavy on my hair like the original bond maintenance shampoo for all hair types. This shampoo in combination with the bond maintenance conditioner for fine hair does wonders on my hair. I’ve noticed a reduction in breakage, and frizz mainly. I’m excited to see how continually using this shampoo will improve my overall hair quality, texture and healthiness. After washing, I use a leave in conditioner with heat protectant in order to protein my hair from the applied heat afterwards.

Better after just one wash!

I struggle with extremely fine and dry hair. I have a lot of breakage and split ends that are really noticeable. After using the N°.4FINE BOND MAINTENANCE® SHAMPOO my hair looks way more thicker, healthy, and looks more tamed just after a few washes. Normally shampoos weigh down my hair but this doesn’t lather as much as most shampoos I’ve tried. It makes my hair feel smooth and clean while helping me with my healthy hair journey. I will be adding this to my hair wash routine weekly now and repurchasing this product when I run out!

Great shampoo for fine hair

I really enjoyed my experience with this Olaplex shampoo! It made my hair look stunning. What I loved: • The consistency, scent, and lather were all top-notch. You don’t need much product to build a rich lather. • Using it felt premium and added a touch of luxury to my shower. • My hair looked healthy and gorgeous afterward, with great volume and minimal frizz. What could be improved: • The protective tab on the opening was hard to remove. • The bottle design feels a bit basic and unremarkable. • The Olaplex website is difficult to navigate and use, including this product page. Wonderful!

I am so happy with this new version of Olaplex Bond Maintenance shampoo and conditioner for fine hair!!! I have bleach damaged ends, and am also in the process of trying to regenerate my hair for my upcoming bleaching. Upon opening the shampoo, I noticed a really fresh and delightful scent! The consistency was also really nice, and really gathered very well on my hair and scalp. It was easy to wash out, and left my hair felling clean. I already started to notice it wasn't feeling as hard and "straw- like". Then I moved onto the conditioner, which also had an amazing fresh scent as well! The consistency of the conditioner was really nice. It worked through my hair very easily. I let it sit a few minutes and began to wash it out. It washed out very easily, and really worked out any tangles I had. My hair really felt so soft after this! I think using both the shampoo and conditioner together are a super powered duo! My hair was so easy to brush, and felt so nice! I let it air dry, and began to see how much it really helped. With just one use, my hair was so shiny and reflecting the light. It also has much more volume and body than usual, and really brought back some of my natural waves. The ends of my hair also feel so much nicer and not dry and hard like before. This combo really seams to hydrate my hair, while also giving amazing volume! Not too mention my hair smells amazing!! My sister even asked me what I used, and complimented me! After a second use, the results are even more enhanced! I didn't think in my wildest dreams my hair could regain health and body like this! I highly recommend the shampoo AND conditioner! Great Lather

I received this product for review and testing purposes. The shampoo had a lighter consistency. I was able to apply less product and receive a great lather. The product left my hair hydrated and healthy. The product left my hair clean and ready to accept the next product.

Perfect strengthening and maintenance shampoo

I’ve been using the olaplex No.4 fine bond shampoo and as someone with 4C hair, I went into it with a bit of skepticism since it’s specifically marketed for fine hair. Surprisingly it ended up working better than I expected in certain areas. The first thing I noticed is how gentle it feels on my scalp. Unlike some shampoos that leave my hair feeling stripped and brittle, this one cleans without that harsh squeaky finish. My scalp feels refreshed after washing and my strands have a softness and light strength to them that I can appreciate, especially since 4C hair is naturally more delicate and prone to breakage. That said it’s definitely not a one-and-done product for my texture. Because my 4C hair thrives on deep hydration and rich moisture, I had to follow up with a heavier conditioner or mask to make sure my hair stayed nourished and give me the moisture balance my hair needs. Another thing to note is the lather it’s not overly sudsy, which actually works in its favor. It feels gentle and doesn’t tangle my coils as much during the wash process. I see this shampoo as more of a strengthening and maintenance step in my routine rather than a hydrating cleanser. I’d recommend using it when you want a thorough but gentle cleanse, then pairing it with a rich conditioner or deep treatment to lock in moisture. It’s not the most moisturizing shampoo for my texture, but it does deliver on bond care and leaves my hair feeling stronger over time. I received this as a part of an educational promotion.

Great for Voluminous Hair

I have thick, fine hair, which was dyed about six months ago. Because my hair is thick and fine, I struggle with flat hair because many products are too heavy. I use this shampoo every other night with the No. 5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner. Since using this shampoo, I have noticed that my hair has much more volume, with notable lift at the roots. As someone with an oily scalp, I appreciate how effectively this shampoo removes buildup. I have also noticed less breakage when I brush my hair. I like that this shampoo is color safe because as someone with chemically treated hair, I have been seeking out a shampoo which strengthens my hair and repairs and prevents damage. I would recommend this shampoo to anyone with fine hair who is looking for a shampoo to volumize their hair. Product was received as part of an educational promotion.

New and improved formula

This shampoo is absolutely amazing. The first iteration worked well, but this one works even better because it’s lighter and a little goes a long way. I have thin hair that tends to frizz if I do not use the correct products. The shampoo gently cleans my hair without stripping or making it feel like there is product buildup on my hair. After using the shampoo, my hair looks less dry and more lively. There are no offensive smells with this shampoo.
