Great translucent powder

This use to be my absolute favorite setting powder. It went on super smooth, it never left a cast. I think the amount of product was well worth the price. I don’t think it helped much with keeping me matte and that’s why I had to switch.

Lightweight, blurring, soft-matte finish

The shade worked well with my skin tone and did not leave a cast or change my foundation. It has a very natural pigmentation for my skin tone, so it’s more settling and blurring than adding coverage. The powder feels lightweight and smooth, and the finish is a soft matte that looks polished without being cakey. The only downside is a bit of powdery residue if you apply too much, especially on dark clothing.

The fit is very good

After using the Anastasia Beverly Hills Mini Loose Setting Powder, the first thing I noticed was how lightweight it feels on the skin and how finely it blends. Upon application, it sets makeup without feeling heavy, and the coverage is light, more for evening out skin tone than for complete coverage. Throughout the day, the makeup stays put, showing good staying power even in areas prone to shine. The hold is excellent; it doesn't smudge or transfer easily, and it doesn't settle into lines or dry out the skin. At the end of the day, the makeup still looks clean and polished.
