Brilliant When Applied Properly

This is a genius product, but it must be applied over a moisturiser (even on oily skin) or it doesn't really 'spread' and can look patchy. I'm a pale freckly redhead, so I wanted to try this before committing to buying it, so I went to my local Clinique counter. OMG, it's fabulous! Applying just a small pea-sized amount made me look healthy rather than bronzed. I first spread it over my fingers then applied it to my face and it just glided on. (You should never apply any product directly to your face, especially make up, despite all those social influencers who claim to be 'experts', yet obviously aren't!) If I want to look a little more bronzed, I apply the Tinted Gelee to my cheeks, forehead and a little on the bridge of my nose and it still doesn't feel or really look like I have anything on my skin, but I look so much better than pale original me! As I said at the start of my review, used correctly, this product is genius, please never discountinue it!

The skin looks patchy a few minutes after application

I was very impressed when I spread it out, but a few minutes later, my skin became patchy and orange.

Za to jako krem sprawdza się całkiem dobrze. Daje bardzo delikatne, subtelne nawilżenie, choć dla suchej skóry może być niewystarczające.

Beautiful skin colour any time of the year

I love this BB gel because I can use it at any time of the year. In the winter months I am very pale but with summer the tan comes and I don't have to worry about the colour as it adapts perfectly giving me a lovely sun kissed glow. I have oily/combination skin and love the fact that is light weight and doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy. The only problem I have with it is the packaging. I used to buy it in the bigger bottle with the pump and it was perfect. Easy to get right amount each time and much more hygienic, but I was so disappointed to learn that it's only available in those smaller bottles/tubes now. I really hope Clinique will bring back the other bottle.

Disappointing

This product does not moisturise my skin and I got a very bad reaction in my face after using it.

Loved itÖfor the first ten minutes

I was really excited to try this, and was pleased with the results for about ten minutes when I suffered an extreme allergic reaction and had to remove it. I have sensitive skin and have used Clinique for years and not had any problems so it's a real shame. Hoping that it is something specific to this product and doesn't mean I'm going to be allergic to all Clinique products! I liked the idea and it seems like a good product - just be cautious if you are prone to reactions.

It's nice but doesn't stay

There are many aspects of this product I actually really like: provides a nice shine, natural colour and is hydrating however it doesn't stay in place for me. I've been put off using it as it ends up looking patchy which is a real shame.

Perfect

Please don't ever change or discontinue this! It's perfect as it is, very light coverage and evens out my skin very nicely. If you have dehydrated skin, then I would advise to use your regular moisturiser before applying this. I tried it without and it didn't look good, but once I applied it after moisturising it was perfect. It just helps it go on more evenly and smoother. Lasts well as you only need a pea-sized amount.

Absolutely love this!

Love the way it evens out my skin, and have been buying it with the pump and the serum insert for a few years now. I'm just so disappointed that this doesn't come in the pump anymore. Even the directions refer to a 'pump' of gel, so where did the pump go?!! Sadness.

Have lots of compliments about my skin since using it.

Was a bit scared by the colour at first! But I love it! Gives a light coverage and lovely dewy complexion, I'd definitely recommend.. in fact I have! Only wish it had SPF.. I've tried the moisture surge but I don't like it as much.

I really like this !

I use this after my normal skincare / moisturiser in the morning and follow with the glossier stretch concealer. This product doesn't really give coverage but really evens my skin tone out / makes texture look more even and skin overall glowy!! I'm 24 and my skin is typically quite dry and I find this product pretty hydrating. I have an lightish olive-y undertone to my skin and the colour works well for me :) Woukd defo recommend - I think some people in the reviews finding it orange are maybe using too much..? A little bit goes a long way for me so I use a little over a pea sized amount for my face and it's perfect :) In my opinion, if you're not vv pale or looking for coverage this product is defo worth the purchase for sure !! X
